Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on 24 April 1982 from Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American musician, singer and TV star. She was a contestant in 2002 when she took home the American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was raised living in Burleson, Texas, a suburb in Fort Worth, where her singing talent was initially recognized by the choir instructor at her school as a seventh grader. After graduating from high school, Clarkson was transferred in Los Angeles, where she unsuccessfully tried to break into show business. After returning to Texas, she became participant on the initial season of the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing show that let the audience vote for their favourite performer. Clarkson received a lot of praise from viewers due to her captivating vocals and humorous style. Clarkson took home $1 million and also a contract recording deal with RCA in the prize.
