Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America who works for Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Ana is a child born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father, both at two years old, relocated to Miami along with them. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the host and producer for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most well-loved Spanish-language programming that the channel airs. The show was nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. The show was ranked as the highest for all the key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation the Florida International University's Political science program, she relocated to Havana and lived there for twenty years. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. After earning her PhD from University of Miami in law and being a lawyer at the bar in Miami city for 20 years. Polo made her first appearance on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized to produce other court programs. Literature Accolades She published Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel was awarded the Critic's Award, as well as The Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain in the United States 1960. Polo is a breast-cancer survivor and often gives talks to help raise money. Through her lengthy life, she's been fighting for LGBT equality. She received her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
