Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as a member of the group One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School formed a group called White Eskimo along with three other students. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. He was always interested in the arts, however he also wished to work as the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even scout. When he worked at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to support his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the auditions of 2010 to The X Factor. This is why his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a brand new group, One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they were among the finalist. However they were 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. However, Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
